Katy began her career in publishing before choosing a bright future at Orange (in a time where it was actually cool to work for a mobile operator), where she helped launch products internationally. Roles in tech include VC at Eden Ventures, VP of Marketing at Videoplaza and CMO at Tech City UK, as well as voluntary positions with Seedcamp, Techstars, and Bristol Enterprise Fund. In an alternative life, she’s a beat poet and a blues saxophonist.

This fuelled a career in public affairs, international development and political risk before she switched to tech as Chief of Staff for Joanna Shields (Facebook) and then Shakil Khan (serial entrepreneur and investor). May is an international business ninja. She has operated out of London, Shanghai, New York and Barcelona, working across strategy, sales, client and project management. May has helped international tech companies such as think global from day one. A fluent Mandarin speaker with a peccadillo for the Chinese business environment. You will always find her wearing at least one item of green.

Ed founded a social enterprise called Jollie’s, sometimes referred to as the Warby Parker of socks. Launched whilst reading Bioscience at Exeter, he positioned the company as a “more-than-profit” to raise sock donations for local shelters using a “wear a pair, share a pair” model. He took his idea to the shelves of the UK’s largest retailers. He’s a sucker for aesthetics and of course, has a thing about socks. He can spot a hand-linked toe-seam from 100 yards.
