Roles in tech include VC at Eden Ventures, VP of Marketing at Videoplaza and CMO at Tech City UK, as well as voluntary positions with Seedcamp, Techstars, and Bristol Enterprise Fund. In an alternative life, she’s a beat poet and a blues saxophonist.
May is an international business ninja. She has operated out of London, Shanghai, New York and Barcelona, working across strategy, sales, client and project management. May has helped international tech companies such as Student.com think global from day one. A fluent Mandarin speaker with a peccadillo for the Chinese business environment. His most recent startup was Worldstores: whereas founder he built a £120m online retailer and fulfilment network. He started his career in corporate finance, then in 1999 co-founded a SAAS eCRM startup Atmyside; sold in 2003. Next he set up Optelligence, an SEM agency (merged into Worldstores). He’s currently working on founding two new startups, in enterprise SAAS and in TV production.

He was named one of Europe’s Top 50 technology entrepreneurs by the Financial Times in 2015.
